Larry Bird out as Pacers president

Mike Wells reported the Pacers president, Larry Bird, is no longer going to be part of the Pacers organization.  One of the main reasons why Bird is stepping down it's because some health issues and he's expected to miss an entire year before deciding if he wants to take another job at a different capacity.

Bird will meet with Indiana Pacers owner, Herb Simon, to make his departure official.  Bird won the NBA executive of the year award,  he did a really good job with the Indiana Pacers, they improved little by little every year and they even made the playoffs this season, their first appearance  since 2006.

Donnie Waslsh will return to the Indiana Pacers in some capacity, maybe he will take over for Larry. We wish Larry the best in anything he decides to try next.
