Kyrie Irving wins the NBA 2011-2012 Rookie of the year award.


Cleveland's Kyrie Irving was named the NBA top rookie for this season, getting 117 out of 120 first place votes.  Irving averaged 18.5 PPG, 5.4 Ast and shot .518 From the field. 

Not only did he had good stats, he also proved he could be counted on when the game got tight, Irving was 4th in four quarter scoring with 6.4 PPG.

Lebron James, Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson & Allen Iverson are joined by Kyrie Irving as the only number one picks to average at least 18 PPG and 5 Ast.
