Amnesty victims.

The deadline to amnesty players for the upcoming 2012-2013 NBA season was yesterday, but before time expired, there were some players let go at the last second.

The Washington Wizards let Andray Blatche go, he has still has 23 million dollars left on his contract.  The Wizards didn't feel like Blatche was going to contribute anything to their team, they want to fill their squad with good young players or quality veterans, Blatche was neither.

In an effort to save some cap space, the Los Angeles Clippers waive forward Ryan Gomes.  Gomes didn't fit in the Clippers plans anymore, he only averaged 2.3 points per game in only 32 games last season with the club.   Gomes had 1 more year under contract worth 4 million.

The Denver Nuggets also used their amnesty clause on Chris Andersen, the move will give them space to sign  former Minnesota player, Anthony Randolph.  Andersen only played in 32 games last season and had an averaged of 5.3 points per game and 4.6 rebounds.
