Lou Williams and Hawks agreed to deal.
Former 76ers player and sixth man of the year runner up Lou Williams agreed to a multiyear deal with the Atlanta Hawks with the $5 million mid-level exception. Williams lead Philadelphia in scoring last season, averaging 14.9 PPG, despite coming off the bench.
The Hawks got someone that loves to score and will help them in a big way, they needed a scorer in the worse way since trading Joe Johnson to the Nets. Al Horford, Josh Smith, Jeff Teague and Lou Williams isn't a bad core, they just need a superstar to lead them. Williams spent 7 seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.
